Who We Are
Launched on the Web in 2004, MatchingMonster joined our sister organizations: Sports Monster and SocialMonster to pioneer a comprehensive combination of leisure andrecreational activity websites to benefit the widest variety ofinterests in the markets we serve. While Sports Monster and SocialMonster are limited to specific markets of operations for leagues,tournaments and events, Matching Monster opened the door to peopleacross North America in search of finding someone. And tens ofthousands from Halifax to Honolulu have joined us!
Throughinteraction with customers using our other programs as well as thethousands of people solely utilizing Matching Monster, we realized thatthere needed to be a broader approach to the site - from just findingromantic matches to finding new friends and activity partners. In 2009,we launched our newest version of Matching Monster - the one you seenow.
While the site has been expanded to include more opportunityfor matching through shared database membership platforms between allthree of our operations, we have maintained our commitment to keepingprices low and membership plans flexible. From a free membershipsubscription that provides quite a lot of site access, to our 3 daytrial with full site access to our very affordable annual membership,we are confident that you will find a membership subscription plan thatmeets your goals as well as your budget.

What We do

Thisis especially true as member profiles from our Sports Monster andSocial Monster sites are also available for searches through MatchingMonster. How It Works
AtMatching Monster, we give you the opportunity to expressyourself through various free writing sections. We have extensivephysical characteristic sections, general interests, an all grown upsection and a huge list of various activities and corresponding skilllevels that should fit just about anyone's interests. Profiles mayinclude up to 10 photos. With the click of a mouse, members caninstantly see photos and read about potential matches in their area.
MatchingMonster also understands the importance of privacy and integrity.All communication between members on Matching Monster happens throughan anonymous email network. The names and contact information of allour members arekept confidential until the member personally decides toshare it with a potential match. And to help ensure the integrity ofour community,every photo is screened by our Member Services teamfor appropriateness before it’s posted to the site. Plus, we have anautomatic bad word filter to try to keep out most of the naughty termssome people might find offensive.
To help give people moreinteractive tools to meet other members, Matching Monster hasincorporated our Monster Styles section. Here you will find moviereviews, book titles to read and review, volunteer opportunities andtravel adventures. Our goal is to give you as much available to do andto discuss with others as possible.
